My Journey: From Justice to Grace

I began my career over four decades ago in the world of law enforcement. Wearing the badge meant more than just enforcing laws — it was about protecting people, standing for what was right, and often making difficult decisions in difficult moments. Those years taught me about justice, responsibility, and the weight of serving others.

From there, my path expanded into private security and investigations. I trained officers, guided teams, and developed programs that prepared men and women to step into roles of great responsibility. As a criminal justice instructor, I’ve had the privilege of teaching the next generation the skills, ethics, and mindset needed to uphold justice with professionalism and honor.

But alongside my career in justice and security, another calling was always present — ministry. As a pastor and teacher of the Christian faith, I found that the same principles I relied on in uniform — integrity, courage, service, and compassion — are rooted in Scripture. Where justice sets boundaries, grace brings healing, where laws guide, love restores.

Justice and Grace was born from that blending of experiences. This platform is where I share what I’ve learned — about faith, about service, and about walking through life with both strength and compassion. My prayer is that others will find encouragement, wisdom, and direction here, drawn from both the courtroom and the pulpit, from the academy and the church.
